Okay, let’s take a look at each of the Torchlight Infinite classes that you can select from when the game launches. The class system is pretty open though, allowing you to build your own character from 24 different talent trees and over 230 unique skills. These include the Frostfire, Spacetime Witness, and Commander, amongst others. It launches simultaneously across mobile and Steam in October 2022, and sees you play as one of five different characters. Wait, you haven’t heard of it? Well, Torchlight Infinite is an upcoming free-to-play spin on the classic ARPG. Then again, the more items that you obtain, the better the chances that at least one of them is a rare or legendary that you might consider an upgrade, so it’s still a net positive in the end.Torchlight Infinite is nearly upon us, so we thought we’d help you out with the game’s most important question: which class should I play? Well, to help, we’ve together a complete list of Torchlight Infinite classes that you can peruse at your leisure. Even with an extremely high Gear Luck stat, you’re never guaranteed to get only legendary items to drop. One more thing to remember is that, again, Torchlight III‘s Gear Luck stat only increases the quantity of drops, not their quality or rarity. Note: Try to place your Luck Sprout near the entrance of your fort so players can quickly spot it if they managed to find their way to your fort. The best option is still to level-up your Luck Sprout in order to gain permanent benefits while, hopefully, helping out other players who randomly ventured to your fort during their travels. Keep in mind that these boons are only temporary (lasting until your character dies or when you log out). If I choose to sacrifice a magic/green item to another player’s Luck Sprout, I could get an extra 9% Gear Luck:Ĭombined with the permanent bonus I have from my own Luck Sprout, I now have 11% Gear Luck: For instance, my Luck Sprout is only tier 2 so I’ve only got 2% Gear Luck by default: If they have, you might want to sacrifice your items therein. In many cases, these players have also planted their own Luck Sprouts.Ĭheck if their Luck Sprouts have grown into Luck Trees already. Transition areas that you find on the map such as Travail Passage, Overgrown Trek, Foetid Footpath, and more are, technically, the forts of other players. Leveling up your Luck Sprout can take a while, but you can increase your Gear Luck stat by visiting the forts of other players. Now, in order to level-up your Luck Sprout, you’ll need to sacrifice some of your loot - the rarer the item, the more points it provides. What you’ll notice immediately is that the Luck Sprout has its own progress bar and tiers, with higher tiers conferring permanent luck bonuses as well. All you need to do is head to your fort to access the object. You’ll get a sidequest to plant a Luck Sprout halfway through Torchlight III‘s first act. Torchlight III, meanwhile, uses a stat called “Gear Luck” to increase the quantity of drops.
